Environmental Inspections:

Mold Testing and Sampling

Mold and its species fall under three basic categories: Allergenic, Toxigenic, and Pathogenic. Allergenic molds are those that might make a person sneeze and wheeze. There might be some form of allergic reaction. A toxigenic mold is one that might make someone have a more adverse reaction and more significant reactions. A pathogenic mold could be a mold that is more extreme with the potential of a fatal reaction.

Your BrickKicker home inspector, a Texas Licensed Mold Inspector (MAT1313) will investigate and collect physical samples of organic material and/or air samples and send them to a Texas licensed lab to determine the type of mold, and/or levels present. Depending on the report, we can help you determine the next steps including hiring a professional remediation service.
