Spring Home Maintenance Tips
- Replace your AC filter with a new one
- Wash windows, siding, and deck
- Replace the batteries in your fire and carbon monoxide alarms
- Flush your water heater
- Check your sump pump before the spring rain starts
- Replace the caulk around weather-stripped doors, trims, siding, etc.
- Remove insulation from outdoor plumbing and faucets
- Have a professional inspect your air conditioning system to ensure that it’s ready for the summer

Summer Home Maintenance Tips
- Trim vegetation and trees (remember no trees over roof and bushes 12 to 18 inches away from house
- Remove lint from your dryer vent – and/or have dryer vent professionally cleaned
- Clean kitchen Rangehood exhaust filter
- Clean refrigerator and freezer coils and empty and clean drip trays.- check owners manual
- Check the dishwasher for leaks.
- Check around kitchen and bathroom cabinets and around toilets for leaks.
- Check for leaking sink/shower/tub faucets
- Reseal tile grout if need

- Have the HVAC inspected by a licensed professional
- Seal gaps and cracks in the caulk around your windows

- To conduct a Level II Chimney scan and inspection

- Clean drains in sinks, tubs, showers, and dishwasher
- Ensure all copper pipes are insulated
